What I do is work on the fundamentals needed to take your game to the next level. While coaching, I've noticed a lot of kids don't have a basic understanding of what's being asked of them. So, that's where I step in. I work with Receivers, Running Backs and Quaterbacks. In my sessions, I cover route Running, hard eye coordination, change of direction drills, throwing techniques and I'm always coming up with crazy but pertinent real life situations.

I enjoy seeing the light bulb go off in a student's mind when they get what's being taught. Most kids don't want to do the work necessary to get to the next level and don't think it takes all this work to get there. But, boy when they get it, it's such a great feeling.

Roy provided very good examples of foot work. He made sure every drill was understood and easy to break down for my 8 year old son. Most importantly he has gave Isaiah confidence in his performance.
I have noticed a big improvement on game day.

Coach Roy is an AMAZING coach! He has been my sons coach and football skills trainer for over 3 years. He has really helped my son reach his potential and has pushed him to advance in his skills. He has also taught him lots of different plays and strategies for the game. Coach Roy has lots of patience and lots of knowledge for football. I highly recommend him!

Coach Roy is an amazing coach! He has been my sons coach for several years. He used to play football and is very passionate about teaching the skills and the game to young children in order to help them be successful. He also encourages and motivates his players in positive ways in order to build their confidence. He instills a lot of teamwork and sportsmanship onto his players as well! I would highly recommend Coach Roy to work with any child wanting to learn basic skill or any child wanting to fine tune specific skills or advance to the next level.

Offense University, Coach Roy, is a very knowledgeable coach who using an appropriate tone with my son as he learns the game of football. He teaches in steps and models what is expected. He is constantly giving feedback. He keeps each skill brief and allows my son to evaluate his progress before, during and after each session. I would recommend this University not only for the knowledge Coach brings to the table but also the inviting atmosphere. Offense University has given my son hope that even though he has never played football before, he can with the skills that Coach Roy is teaching him.

Coach Roy is great with our son. His lessons are specifically designed to work on the areas of focus he needs the most attention with and he gives great homework that we are able to work on together throughout the week. Highly recommend him!

    Frequently asked questions

The first session I evaluate the student to see what their skill set is. Then I base each session on developing the students skill set! Each week we do a review for about 10 minutes,  then add another tool to their tool belt.

I have been coaching with I9sports for for 7 years. I coached soccer and football. I played receiver myself and I realized that most kids don't have the fundamentals to become a good receiver, Running back or even a Quaterback. So I saw a need to help these kids because high school football here in Tx is king. If you don't have the skills to contribute, you either won't make the team, and if you do, you may not get playing time. So I want to give these kids a fighting chance to be successful.

I charge $40 for an hour session.

Well, I've been coaching for  a while. I've been Silver certified Bowling coach since 2011. When my son was born, he took a liking to soccer so I started coaching soccer for about 5 years. After we finished playing each week, he wanted to stay and watch the flag football game. One day, I asked if he wanted to try football and he said he would love too!  I became the coach for his teams and he fell in love with it.

I work with any age group,  but as of now, i have 6th and 7th graders and  high school students.

My son is playing for Dowell middle school and he's been working his tail off to get on the field and play. He finally got his chance at Defensive Back. He made two open field tackles, shut down the reciever he was covering and assisted in a tackle on the kick off team. To say I was proud of him is an understatement.

My advice is to schedule a session with me and see if I'm a good fit for your child. See how I interact, how I teach and make a decision on if I'm able to help your kiddo reach their potential!!
