What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I assess exactly what it is that my students wants to achieve and work with them to create a plan to attain those goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Communication and a BA in Spanish. My fitness certifacations are as follows:
-Zumba
-Aqua Zumba
-Strong by Zumba
-Group EX Instructor (AFAA)
-Silver Sneakers (Classic and Circuit)
-Cycling (Spin)
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching by first becomiung a student. I saw how much trainers/group fitness instructors impacted my life/fitness and wanted to do the same for others.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with children, adults, active older adults and special-needs communities.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was honored to perform with Zumba at the Astros game. It was mind-blowing!
