The Home of Champions... 2017, 2018, 2019 Texas 6A State Champs have all come out of this Academy, one of which is trying for his 3rd state championship in a row Dematrius Davis of North Shore Muatangs. including 1 All American, 1 Gatorade POY, #1 Dual Threat QB for the 2020 class, and over 20+ D1 QBs. 7 of the top 10 QBs statistically for 2018 have come from this Academy, also for the first time three QBs helped their team go undefeated and made it to State 15-0. Those schools were Marshall, Shadow Creek, and North Shore. North Shore went on to win it all and becoming the #1 HS Football team and claiming the title National Champs by MaxPreps.com. My son has been working with J.P. since youth ball and now is a freshman in high school. There simply is no better QB coach in the business in my mind !! Focuses on not just the big picture of setting your feet and throwing the ball, but takes the time to explain the why, when, and how of the smallest details that go into playing the QB position. It’s not an overnight process, but a series of steps along the way in the grand scheme of becoming the best you can be. Takes everything that happens in a lesson good or bad and uses it as a teaching moment to inspire the optimum growth in a young athlete. What started as simply QB position training for a young kid aspiring to be great has turned into him finding not only his QB coach, but also a great friend and mentor that he can lean on when he’s having a bad day or struggling with mechanics. What more could you ask for?

JP is the best! He takes his time with the kids and gets to know them. He is an encourager and is there to grow them constantly. My sone has been training with Five Star for 4 years and has grown so much as a QB. JP is there for him no matter what...sports or personal issues! What is your typical process for working with a new student?

A new student would work on the following thru our QB System:

Base, Balance, & Stance

Weight Transfer, Grip, Throwing a Spiral, Arm Path

From the instruction of these points your son will be developing with his health as the focal point. I have seen a number of QBs at young ages have arm issues that I have helped get passed by teaching them to throw using Kinematic Sequencing and having a great understanding of the lower body and its importance to the throwing a football.
