About
Bonjour à tous et bienvenue chez la classe française. I'm a native French speaker who lives in Houston, TX. I was raised and graduated from France. I was head teacher in a private bilingual school, where I've written the curriculum for all levels. With me you will learn French as a language but also as a cultur. I love to see my student happy, learn new things, and progress a lot. My classes are always very interactive which is more than needed when you want to learn a new language. And I'm open to any questions or specific requirement you may have. I can also help you be ready to travel to France. So let's me work with you!
I love to teach French. I love to see my student happy to learn and to be successful.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A personnalized approach!
I love to learn about my student: their strengths, their weaknesses, but also their hobbies. It helps me target my lesson to make them interesting for my student. And when a lesson is interesting, the student learn faster and better, without realizing he is learning or working hard.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm trained to work with kids having special needs such as dyslexia.
I'm a french native speaker so french does not have any secret for me, and I can easily adapt my lesson to each student.
I'm a coach for a young promising sport team.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I offer discount for long term and regular students.
How did you get started teaching?
I started tutoring kids when I was only 15 years old. My grand mother was a teacher and I think she gave me this love of teaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
I already worked with kids and adults from all ages starting at 3 years old up to 65 years old. I believe that my kindness and my love of teaching help me a lot.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't look only the diploma and experience. You have also to trust your feeling. If you feel confortable with someone, if this person can listen to you, then you will be able to learn better and faster.
If you are afraid of your teacher, or if you feel stressed with him, you will have trouble to learn .
So don't hesitate to request an intro lesson to see if it is a good fit!
