My personable nature drives me to make our interactions as enjoyable as possible. Art has been a part of my life since childhood, starting with sketches of ponies and pooches, and evolving into a passion for drawing and painting subjects close to my heart or pretty to the eye. I've been there, won that when it comes to awards in high school art competitions. The simple desire to engage in art is commendable, and I am eager to encourage and guide artists of any skill level to embrace their artistic journey. Creating art that resonates with people brings me joy. I thrive on finding inspiration and sharing it with others.

Hello! My name is Francesca and I love to paint. I specialize in animal and people portraits. I give drawing lessons as well as acrylic painting lessons. I teach children as well as adults. I hope you will join me to either learn to paint or brush up on your chops. I love every bit of the process of painting. I love coming up with ideas of what to paint, mixing colors and deciding on composition and finally fishing the painting.

Karen Vernon, Vernon Fine Art, is an established teacher in drawing and painting. Karen has taught across the United States, Canada and Europe. Karen's focus is developing technical skills in the medium of choice, developing strong compositional skills, and helping each artist develop theirown voice/style. Colors of the Heart, spearheaded by Betsy Miller, is a renowned art studio located in Friendswood, Texas. Established to foster creativity and self-belief through the arts, the studio offers fine art classes for children aged seven years through high school. The curriculum covers advanced art concepts, composition, value, color theory, and techniques tailored to age-appropriate levels. The studio runs regular 8-week semesters throughout the school year, as well as two week-long Summer camps. Many of their students have won prestigious awards and college art scholarships over their 32 years of exceptional teaching.
