About
I have over 33 years of experience and sewing and interior decorating. I started in high school and love creating new items whether it be a skirt, dress or a complete new room. I will teach my students the basics about the different types of materials, terminology and how to cut out a pattern, measure, zippers, buttons and also help them complete a project of their choice.
I love helping people create something that can help them or they like such as a dress or pillows and a bedspread. It is my passion. I have my own website (www.homedecorbysusanandsally.com) and I love what I do!

I have over 33 years of experience in sewing; which started in High School for all 4 years; winning Reserve Grand Champion my senior year at our show for sewing. Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $30 per lesson which includes helping the student pick out material, pattern and accesories needed to complete the project.
How did you get started teaching?
By people asking me if I would teach them. I taught my three sons to sew because they needed to know how to sew on a button.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
When my father passed away, I made memory blankets and pillows for my two brothers and memory pillows for all my nieces and nephews; so that they will always have something to remember my dad.
