Hello! My name is Sydney Lusby. I am a current student at the Juilliard School in New York City. I grew up in Texas and have a love for students whom are interested in getting better at clarinet. Everybody comes from different backgrounds and I want every student to feel they are making improvements.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step of lessons is to meet the student. We will meet at the studio in my home and I will evaluate where the students strengths and weaknesses are. We will then make a structured plan that makes the student feel confident.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started playing clarinet in 2010. I went to middle school and my first two years of High school in the GCISD school district. My last two years of high school were in Michigan. I attended an internationally renowned arts boarding school called Interlochen arts academy. I received my high school diploma in clarinet performance. I am currently a junior at The Juilliard School.
