I have a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Composition and a Master's Degree in Classical Guitar Performance. I have nearly 35 years of teaching experience. I enjoy instructing enthusiastic students using the many skills I have developed through the years. Seeing students improve is a real thrill for me. I help students by developing a keen awareness of their musical interests and showing them that the solutions are not reserved for a special few but that anyone with the determination, knowledge and desire can make real headway. I studied Worship Music at Cedarville University, where my primary instrument was guitar and my secondary instrument was voice. During college I spent two years performing on Cedarville’s traveling worship band, Heartsong, where I played bass guitar and helped lead worship at churches and events across the country.
