I have professional artists teaching classes in oils, acrylics, pastels, and watercolor. The classes are held daytime and evening, with occasional workshops on Saturdays. These teachers are not only very accomplished artists, but excellent teachers as well, from beginner through advanced. Our dedicated classroom is inside Upper Bay Frame & Gallery, in a room set up just for the classes, complete with sink, water, restroom in the gallery, and right across the parking lot from a Starbucks!...

I just love painting and all it involves. Using a new and ingenious method or the challenge of capturing the shadow casted on a leaf. Painting gives us access to all kinds of wonders; from leading us into a fun and gentle mode of meditation through the activation of the right side of the brain, to rewarding us with a piece of work that can give us a sense of accomplishment and pride.

Hello! My name is Francesca and I love to paint. I specialize in animal and people portraits. I give drawing lessons as well as acrylic painting lessons. I teach children as well as adults. I hope you will join me to either learn to paint or brush up on your chops. I love every bit of the process of painting. I love coming up with ideas of what to paint, mixing colors and deciding on composition and finally fishing the painting.

Janet has the rare and unique ability to enhance learning skills and techniques for all levels at all ages. She has students from 5 to 87 years old, all learning, mastering and enjoying new skills.

Our specialty is painting, printing and dyeing on fabric. There are so many possibilities, from abstract to intricate details, and from one of a kind, to multiple prints. My degree is in fine arts, but I have always created with fabric. I have taught across the US, Japan and Canada with Quilt and Art Guilds and Schools.
