What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students will learn how to prepare for training by thoroughly warming up. Then they will learn solo grappling drills and how to protect themselves during a fall. Then the 6 Clinch fighting positions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Extensive training in Karate, Kung fu, Tangsoodo, Aikijujitsu, Iaijutsu, and Muay Thai kickboxing
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Classes are paid by the month and are due the first week of every month. Monthly tuition is $120.
How did you get started teaching?
Teaching was a requirement coming up through the ranks.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with adults, teens, and children. I have worked with students that have had various physical and mental handicaps. All are welcome. Only the will to get stronger is needed.

We opened up in a new location.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask questions. Ask tons of questions. Ask about free trials and see if it is something you are wanting to do. Ask about training times, locations, and duration.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
First they should be very clear about what they want and why they are training. Some train to preform. Some train for personal defense. Some train for general fitness and health. Some train for fighting in competition. Be very clear and ask questions, tons of questions.
