I’ve been a journalist and tutor for 17 years. I am outgoing and enjoy working with students of all ages. A graduate of Brown University and the University of Kansas, I am a highly qualified tutor who thoroughly enjoys her work.

I started playing guitar at the age of 8 years old. I have been a Music teacher now since the age of 15.. I have taught 1000's of students and inspired people of all ages to learn a musical instrument & share the joys of playing Music!!!

Two of my favorite things in this business include, the day when a student discovers they can play. A light bulb lights for the first time. Girl Guitar offers group classes for women in guitar, songwriting, and various full band experiences with community and performances built in. Private lessons are available for men and women over 21.
