I am a registered nurse, registered yoga teacher, and registered prenatal yoga teacher, with certifications in restorative yoga therapy and teaching seniors, and my passion lies in helping others feel better, whatever their need.
I specialize in bringing the benefits of yoga into a private or semi-private setting to people who don't feel comfortable going to the gym or crowded yoga studio: beginners, seniors, prenatal, the inflexible, the sedentary, people who are anxious or depressed, those with chronic illness, chronic pain, injuries, you name it.
No matter what your situation, age or fitness level, you will benefit, partly from the physical movements of yoga, and also from the breathwork and mindfulness that is the foundation of all my classes.
What is the thing that's keeping you from feeling your best? Let that be the reason that you start yoga today.
I love teaching people who have never done yoga before, who have been scared to try or who have tried and felt like they "failed" after just one class.
Seeing people succeed and feel better, stronger, calmer, or in less pain after just one class is the greatest reward and reason I love teaching.
Having been a registered nurse for 30 years, discovering yoga as a means to help others was a dream.
I hope to help you feel better soon.
The private lesson was very helpfull in stretching and reducing stress
Gotta say the Astros World Championship!!!
Think about what, right now, is standing in the way of your feeling your best. Is it achey or stiff muscles? Chronic illness? Chronic stress? Aging? Life events? Let whatever it is be the thing that brings you to yoga. We will talk before you begin so we can make sure you're getting the exact help your mind and body need.
