Orgill Studio, located in Orem, Utah, is a music education center that believes in building a solid, comprehensive musical foundation for its students. The studio offers customized weekly lesson plans targeting piano technique, music theory, sight reading, ear training, improvisation, and in-depth knowledge of musical literature and history. Each student is treated as unique, with their individual talents, interests, and goals taken into account to ensure they feel motivated, heard, and important, enabling them to realize their full potential.

I care about my students and their progression and adapt to the needs and goals of each student (and if your goal is just to have fun, that's great too!) Lessons, offered in Spanish Fork and online, typically include technique, repertoire, a method book, music theory, sight reading, and ear training. I teach many instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass, voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, and recorder), and have taught for many years both privately and in the school system. I played violin 18 years in the Orchestra at Temple Square. I teach primarily classical. Seeing students progress and become excited about what they are learning/achieving!

I have taught piano for many years. I have degrees in both piano pedagogy and in piano performance. I have extended experience performing as a concert artist and as a duo pianist have performed throughout the United States, including Carnegie Hall. My duo partner and I also have won an international two piano competition. I provide my students with an excellent background in classical music, including theory and technique.
