Affekt Training is a unique private training space located in Salt Lake City. It is a diverse yet comprehensive blend of training modalities that in turn provides true holistic development. Affekt is a space dedicated to training and thought, effort and attention.

The clientele we work with is diverse, ranging from those recovering from injuries, to those looking to begin their fitness journey or those who have been on the path but are seeking better coaching and more comprehensive programming and progression, we also consult with professional athletes from time to time.
We offer one-on-one and small group training, we also offer a complete remote training service unlike any other out there (Affekt Lucida remote coaching). Pricing is on the website and is comparable to other spaces in the area, but people don't pay us for the cheapest service, the 6 week bootcamp or the knock-off program, they pay us for an endearing community, an open and honest gym that will push you to get better in every way possible. Affekt Training is for hard workers, open people and curious spirits.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
-face to face consultation getting to know you and to see if we will work together well.
-assessment which is thorough and tackles all avenues of health and fitness including flexibility, mobility, control, movement, aerobic work capacity and comprehensive body assessments
-program design. We get the program and start running!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

How did you get started teaching?
I got started by realizing that I wanted to play a part in the process of change for another person. I wanted to free people from what they think they can be, accomplish or who they are and teach them that there is more.
I coach because I find it an immediate way to make a profound impact on how people live and navigate their life, being a small part of that process is what I love and care about.
What types of students have you worked with?
I love working with people that have a big picture in mind: sure they want to lose the weight, get stronger, lose fat, look better or increase performance, but they have their eyes set on 20-50 years in the future.
In that case we train for longevity and vitality that you can take with you for the rest of your life!
