About
Yoga Hour is a regular 1 hour long session that is held every week Saturday for youth ages 4-12. Children will stretch and do yoga poses, learn how to breath properly, use guided imagery and relax, mediate, and positively interact with peers. Some sessions will be themed where children will learn a valuable life lesson. Children love doing yoga to their favorite music and incorporating the latest dance moves.
NOTE: Private sessions are available by appointment only for all ages however.
Yogi Rosie is very passionate about youth and their development. Yoga with Rose is mostly geared toward sharing the Lifestyle of Yoga to Youth. It develops kids physically and mentally, increases self-esteem, confidence, and develops mindfulness.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Usually I just allow the new student to try a class to see how they like my teaching and if they would want to continue. I am very personal with my students and love to make it fun. Sometimes I may come up with specific sequences for certain students depending on what they wanted to work on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not yet a certified yoga instructor however I have been dedicated to the Yoga Lifestyle since the Summer of 2015.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
- Weekly Saturday sessions are Free for first time and then $10/student ages 4-12 only
-Private sessions can be group or individual and pricing is customized per request
-Special Sessions such as Paint & Yoga or Sciencce & Yoga are $25/student ages 4-12
How did you get started teaching?
I had back problems after giving birth to my twins boys for over 8 or 9 years. I finally was prescribed to doing physical therapy and it was helpful but not enough. I came across a friend online that was doing yoga a lot more and became an instructor. I decided to give yoga a try with hot yoga being my first class. It was very intense but extremely fun. I have been hooked every since. I have not had any more back issues since. I also sleep better and feel more energized and ready for life. Its super relaxing and a must like coffee in the morning.
What types of students have you worked with?
I mostly work with youth ages 4-12 but have worked with teens, pregnant moms, a single moms group, men that train hard and need yoga to stretch out their muscles such as boxers and marathon participants, and senior citizens.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Coming up I have my annual Halloween Yoga Special where we also have a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness. This year we started recognizing October for ADHD Awareness Month as well so every week we are doing a challenge in honor of those with ADHD of all ages but mostly youth.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Take your time and do not give up on yoga! Some people do not like it because they cannot properly connect with their instructor or their own bodies. Some people think too much into it and do not allow it to just flow. Yoga should never be forced. Its a go at your own pace type of thing. It is a lifestyle rather than a workout. Breathing properly is key.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Just know your body and your limits. If there is something wrong such as medical condition then it needs to be known before practice. If it does not feel right, then stop. No question is wrong or dumb so please ask away anytime.
