Art is an expressive language that communicates feelings and ideas that can be shared between the artist and the viewer. A profound connection to others and our world can be experienced through the arts. Regarding teaching others, I believe in fostering a fun and enriching environment of mutual respect that promotes self-expression and active learning, allowing students to stretch and grow in their skill at their own pace. Creating artwork is a deeply personal process, as it is intellectual, emotional and intuitive to differing degrees. Each student will be treated as an individual, as both teacher and student benefit from interactions in the classroom. A strong foundation will consist of the learning the basics of several methods and handling of various tools and materials. Planning, design, and fabrication of each unique creation would be discussed as needed.

I love seeing how each student blossoms and grows in their own way. I can teach online individual/private lessons, however you might enjoy joining one of my group classes. I hold classes online and in person at several different locations.
