About
I'm a very patient instructor and understand that students learn at a different pace, after all everyone is an individual!
Availability changes every week and please contact me for availability.
I received my degree in Geology from Yangon University in Yangon, Burma in 1993. After I moved to New York City in 2005, I earned a M.A. (Geology) from The City College of New York in 2010. I learned crocheting and sewing from my mother. I also took a bauble, bangle and bead string class, Draping I and II classes, and pattern making I and II classes from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
I’ve been teaching private sewing lesson (since 1998), beading and pearl knotting lesson (since 2009), and Burmese language (since 2014) and I have loved helping my students.
Although trained in standard teaching methods, I developed my own method to fulfill my students’ needs.
I am looking forward to helping new students to achieve their goals!
I love teaching! : )
What I love most about my job is helping students to create something special.
