About
I am a US Army Retired Veteran
Hobbies: Golf, Water Sports, Motorsports, Traveling
I have coached Baseball, Basketball.
I have played sports all around the world in my travels as a
Soldier on the Junior College Circuit, Pro Am league exibitions, and with Former NBA And Major League Baseball Legends. Fundementals are essential and the objective is for the athelete to enjoy the sport they are in. Try each one until you find the one you like then work to be the best at it. Practice and repetition is the key ingredient to success. Failure is the tool to which winning is measured.
It is our responsiblity in life to provide the blueprint for our future stars no matter what field the end up on.
Atheletics can open many doors that are normally closed to less priveldged individuals or those who do not take avantage of thier skill set or desire.
All that is asked for is a level playing feild so that all may enjoy the opportunity to strive for confidence, greatness and self awareness through acheivment. One must be a student of the game.
The fundamentals include working on the little things that make you better -- no matter what team or coach you play for -- or what offense or defense you are running. For example, by working on the fundamentals of shooting, you will get better no matter what team you play for. The fundamentals of shooting include proper foot alignment, leg bend, hand position, arm angle, follow through, and so on. These are some of the little things that make a difference. Learn them! The same goes for lays ups, foot work, post play, passing, jab steps, jump stops, pivoting, blocking out, and so on.
For baseball there are 11-12 essenital fundamentals to Hitting, Throwing and fielding in baseball and we will cover them all. We have fun while we learn and evolve parents as well.
