Hey there, I’m Kelly Morgan.

Most days you can find me laughing at cat videos, quoting the Simpsons, and thanking my lucky stars that I’m able to work with the awesome women I coach, teach, and hang with.I am a health and fitness professional and motivation expert who has been in your (gorgeous!) shoes. I have recovered from anorexia, gained too much weight in a time of stress, and lost the weight to get to a happy place, finally. I know what it takes to find balance while fulfilling the seemingly endless work, academic, family, social, and personal commitments we all have.

I started out in this industry in 2002 when I was in college. I was your typical know-it-all 20-year-old who was like, “Hey, I’ve done a few belly dance workout videos. I can teach an entire class on it.” Luckily for me, UVA agreed and I taught my very first fitness class, Cardio Bellydance. It sold out immediately! Suddenly, I had all of these other college students looking at me like some expert. I thought, “Oh, crap,” and I hustled like nobody's business to learn the craft of being a fitness instructor, which they don’t really teach in undergrad English programs.

Fast forward a decade later, and I had become legit in the industry, with certifications, a Ph.D., and all. To be specific:

Fast forward again to today, and you’ll see one lucky lady (most likely sitting at a computer in yoga pants with a cat on her lap). I’ve dedicated my work and free time to my greatest love, helping other women like me find the happiness, energy, ease, and grace that comes with a healthy lifestyle. It all started with the nerve to teach a class I had no business teaching at the time.

You’ve always been a go-getter, overachiever, and someone who does the most. But lately you don’t have the energy to go all out like you used to.

But in reality, those big changes with rigid rules are hard to keep up.

Most of the time you end up failing and feel worse than when you started.

What’s most important is fitting things into your current lifestyle. That way you can maintain your success instead of sliding back when things get too hard.

Instead, you live more efficiently by finding what works in your already ridiculously busy life. Once you figure that out, you’ll have the energy to keep it up for years to come - no matter how many tedious meetings, toddler meltdowns, and friends’ destination weddings come your way.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

All coaching packages include:

- gathering general health information and history as well as assessing your needs for success in a behavior change program

- goal setting and planning

- defined steps and targets to meet along the path to your goals

- e-mail support between sessions

- additional education on topics relating to your goals

- emotional and social support to help you make the health and lifestyle changes you want

- my absolute commitment to your health and success in achieving the goals we lay out

How does it work?

After purchasing, you'll have access to getting started information. You'll also have access to a link to my online scheduler. You'll schedule your first 15-minute appointment for us to get to know each other and to discuss what you'd like to accomplish.

All of our meetings will be over Zoom, a free online video conferencing program.

You'll use my scheduling link to schedule your future appointments. The frequency of the appointments is up to you. You'll get a better idea of how often you want to meet after our first session, and I can offer a recommendation.

In between each session, you'll have "homework" to keep you on track and keep moving toward your goals. You'll also have email access to me for any questions or encouragement. I'm yours!
