I am a music educator with 17 years teaching experience in private lessons, public schools, and private schools. Having taught in many different setting, I feel I do a great job tailoring my teaching style to fit the needs of the student. I break the material down in a way everyone can understand and I don't let students walk away confused about the material or have unanswered questions. I love to teach all age groups and all learning styles. My certifications include a BS in Music Education, an MA in Behavioral Psychologist, and a certification in Music Pedagogy. I do weekly lessons and usually bill by the month, I also do two recitals a year: one in December and one in May. These are of course optional but highly encouraged just to have a performance opportunity and something to work for! It’s also a nice way for the students to connect and have something to work toward! I have 8 years of experience teaching private lessons, I hold two degrees in music: a Bachelor's degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Master's degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music! I have 3 years of experience teaching at the Governors' School for the Arts.
