About

I help purposeful people that are in the kind of pain and stress that limits them in their relationships, life and passion. My clients are hungry for healing in ways that feel empowering, that they can comprehend and learn to help themselves.

My modality is called the Feldenkrais Method. You can think of it as a nervous system tune up. A typical private session begins with a verbal dialogue, progresses into hands-on work and communication about the improvement that the person can take into their life.

What I love most of my work is that it is empowering! It isn’t a fix it. It taps into our inherent ability to heal and to live the life we want! As a facilitator, I help bring my clients into that state and teach them how they can do it for themselves.

    Frequently asked questions

Here's how a typical private session works.

You only take off your shoes during the session. You wear your regular, comfy clothes, as in no gym clothes.
We talk briefly to get a sense of what your goals are. Then we dive-into the hands-on part of the session. We reduce the stimulus to the system by bringing you to lie down on a table (similar to a massage table, just completely different intention) in a comfortable position. The touch is gentle, yet specific.

As I am working with you, I will bring your attention to what I am sensing to help you make sense of it as well. You will walk away learning about yourself in a way that will start to put you in control of your situation.

Here are a few examples of what people feel at the end of a private session:

‘I feel like I am gliding.’
‘I feel light and more able to handle my life.’
‘I am calming down. I deal with stuff much better.’
‘My past hasn’t changed but the way I deal with it has.’
‘I feel like I have let go off so much that I have made way for something new and profound and light to come into my life.’
    ‘I sleep really well.’

I am a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University's School of Business. I worked at Amazon for many years.

My career change happened as a result of searching for my own healing.  I have 4 years of Feldenkrais training, 1.5 years of advanced training and 500 hours of hands on experience working with clients.

A Feldenkrais training is a very specialized field for learning to get more comfortable in your whole self through increased awareness of how it works.

I've also been a Yoga Instructor which was my stepping stone into the world of awareness before I found my love for Feldenkrais. I've had 500 hours of teacher training, 200 hours of therapeutic yoga training and over 500 hours of experince teaching yoga classes of all levels, including prenatal yoga.

My one-off private sessions are $120.

I teach classes in 6-8 week series, which are typically $100-$150 for the series & $25 for a drop-in.

Workshops can be 3-5 hours and full day.

It has been very empowering for me to learn how to heal myself. When I did, I felt compelled and ready to share and empower others that want to walk the path withe me. :)

I have have the opportunity to work with students of all ages, pregnant moms, moms with young kids. The over riding theme with all of them is a difficulty they're having that they are ready to shake off. This includes but is not limited to sciatic pain, back pain, shoulder difficulties, plantar fasciatis, knee & neck pain and pregnancy realted aches and pains.

I would suggest have a conversation with them, being very specific about what you are looking for and asking for examples if the person you're speaking with has helped with that and what the outcome was. Then make the decision from a place of connection with yourself.

    Questions to ask yourself

    - What is your difficulty?

    - What have you done to overcome it and with what succes?

    - What is your commitment to overcome it now?

    - What would it look like if you did overcome it?
