I teach classes in Photography and Jewely making. I teach indiviual class and small group classes.

I have spent the last 10 years shooting sports and teaching other how to make jewelry now that many of the bead stores ahve close. With the majority of bead stores only on line, meaing now mroe hand on classes, I continue to teach out of my home or at a local coffee shop near you.

I love being creative with photography and capturing every day people doing every day tings. With beading and jewelry design, I love taking the basic technique and see how fart they can be streached to create someing different and unique that knowbody has ever seen. I also love making jewelry that involves recyceling of everyday items.

I got started in teacing photogrpahy and jewelry to my friends and them moved up to teaching at UW in the college of Continuing Education.

Mot of my students rage from 18 on up.  However this past year I spend the year teaing a jewelry off and on to an 11 year old.

You are never to young to start learing to sew, bead, and do photogrpahy.  I prefer that all students be in first grade and above.

A recent event that I was fond of was ART in the Pearl in Portlnad, Oregon.  I love going ther to see al lthe new art, and to be inspired to try new things.

All teacher mus be kind, patient, and understading.  I pride myself in teing to every ability and looking to what abilitie each student can bring to the table.  Eerybody is capable of learing, and if someting needs re working, modifing to meet a persons needs or ability is someitng I pride myself on.  This is so important, even in ly line fo daily work as an elementary special educaotin teacher.

What materiais do I need to bring to the class.  Do you have an printed out instructions I can take home or online resources I can take with me?
