I have a private studio with everything you will need to make your lessons enjoyable and productive. You will learn at your own pace. I will provide you with my knowledge, and encourgemnet.
I pursued a fashion degree after high school and worked in various shops. A few years ago after I decided to return to school to get my degree in fashion merchandising. Although I wanted to learn about the business side of fashion, I entered the fashion show at the school and won Daywear Designer of the Year. I could not stay away from sewing and design.
I have loved sewing since I waas a very young girl. Sewing has allowed me to me creative, be expressive, to challenge myself, stretch my imagination, and meet amazing people with the same passion. There is nothing better than waking up everyday and being able to do something you love. But even better than that is sharing your passion with others, and hopeing they will find their passion too or at least like it enough to stick with it. It has been hard for me to narrow down just one specialty. Right now I work alot with upstyling clothing, embroidery, leather, and custom patches. It is very rewarding.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If my student is very new to Sewing I will familiarize them with the sewing machine how it works how to thread the machine and then we will practice sewing shape circle lines things of that nature. We will start out with very simple projects and progress as the student learns
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As I noted in my bio I've been sewing for decades I love sewing I have taught others so I've taught for the Seattle school district teaching children to sew. I have also taught nieces and nephews to so it is very rewarding to see people complete their projects and you can see the pride on their faces. I have a degree in Fashion and Custom Apparel and Fashion Merchandising.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $25 per lesson and I recommend that the lesson be at least an hour and a half and that can be once a week
How did you get started teaching?
I got it started teaching for the Seattle school district through a small company going to different schools in the SEATTLE school district teaching the kids in the school
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with school-age children mostly and I have worked with some adults personally
