Within ONE lesson, Howard could pinpoint EXACTLY what my trouble areas are, and not only is he able to articulate a very clear plan for dealing with those, but he has also helped me with the burdening amount of pain that plagues my joints and muscles when I play something technically demanding! Furthermore, he is very focused, understanding, knowledgeable and gentle! After having many verbally.... difficult teachers whose teaching involved quite a bit of negative reinforcement, it is an absolute pleasure and an eye opening experience to have a patient, understanding teacher. Some people may learn quite well in that fashion, and there was a period of time when I actually believed, or rather was brainwashed into thinking that being verbally berated would serve as motivation. But now I see quite clearly that is not the case: I learn a lot better and I am more motivated to practice when I find it a pleasure to go to my piano lessons! Thank you, Howard for all your dedication, patience and knowledge!

Al Ynigues was very welcoming and friendly, and my first drum lesson went as well as could be expected for an extremely rhythm challenged student. Mr. Ynigues lesson plan was well organized and presented.

Mr. Pruyn takes what makes percussion exciting and truly breaks down the technical aspects and makes you develop a true passion and appreciation for all things percussion. Andy has taught at both Middle School and Highschool levels and knows how to approach all levels of knowledge on reading music. I highly recommend Andy Pruyn’s Percussion Studio.

The Wyoming Elite Music Academy of the Arts, now ELITE MUSIC ACADEMY OF THE ARTS , is the best music academy for children, teens, and adults! Joyce is the most fantastic piano, vocal/singing instructor my daughter and I have ever had! My daughter started piano and singing lessons online (via the Internet) with Joyce at age 5 and has absolutely loved every minute of it! Now, she is 9, and has decided to finish her voice and piano courses! Even Joyce's online lessons are fun, engaging, encouraging, and filled with important information and practice activities...and that makes my daughter want to do better each time, and even practice every day! I find myself on a similar path. I have progressed immensely in piano, and for the first time, with Joyce's online piano lessons, I have felt I have been truly learning how to play the piano well. I have learned more music theory than I ever thought was possible! My daughter and I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing musician and instructor who has in the past even collaborated with so many top notch world renowned musicians, and Maestros... and she has been our instructor! Beginners, intermediate, and Advanced students of all ages will achieve superb musical progress here! We look forward to continuing to take lessons with Joyce! Both this Academy and Joyce come highly recommended! For online or in person lessons, the Elite Music Academy of the Arts and Ms. Joyce are absolutely the best!

Orange Music Studio was definitely one of the highlights of my high school career! I took lessons from Gala Yaroshevsky for roughly two years and she was one of the most passionate and influential teachers I've had in my life. She has the ability to go far beyond just teaching the notes and techniques and makes music such an immersive, enjoyable, and unique experience for her students. She guided me through the Advanced level of the Certificate of Merit and both the Flute Choirs and Philharmonic Orchestra of the San Jose Youth Symphony. It would not have been the same with anyone else!
