Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We focus on mechanics, footwork, timing, & the mental aspects of playing football. Each of these is crucial to playing the game successfully.
The following is a sample Quarterback plan:
-We start each session with drills that emphasize a correct arm path to increase passing accuracy & arm efficiency
-Then we focus on the feet, hips, & shoulders to teach throwing alignment
-Later, we move to various drops that coordinate with wide receiver route timing (Player input regarding the offensive scheme their team runs is helpful here in preparing the quarterback to be successful for his team. For example, Shotgun, Pistol, Under Center.)
-Lastly, we work on what to do when the play breaks down & drills that teach quarterback improvisation
As a player continues lessons, they will become tailored to the needs of the individual athlete.
