I enjoy helping people improve their lives through the game of golf and help quide them in the right direction to accomplish their goals and missions. This could be the cometitive player or someone who just wants to have a better swing for Top Golf once in a while with friends. I have worked with all age ranges from 5-92 and truely enjoy getting to spend time and positively impact the people that I work with and coach.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For the first lesson we have a 2-hour evaluation of the entire game, perform a TPI functional movement screen to see how your body moves, assess what your goals are and create a game improvement plan. From there we begin working towards accomplishing your goals and missions. I recommend coaching sessions every 1-4 weeks depending on the player and their goals for at least 1-2 hours, preferably two hours each session. This gives adequate time to assess and diagnose any issues preventing positive output and also the opportunity to work on different areas of the game during the same sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BioSwing Dynamic Certified
TPI L2 J2 Certified
Penn State Universty The Biomechanics of Golf Certififed

How did you get started teaching?
I've played golf for almost 24 years now and have always wanted to be around the game. I was competive in middle and high school as a player and wanted to be a teacher and coach to help others enjoy the game more and create better lives through golf. I went to Mississippi State University and through their PGA Golf Management Program. In college I was fortuntate to have internships at different clubs and get to spark my coaching journey. Once I graduated I was hired at Highland Park Golf Course as the Player Devleopment Director in Birmingham, AL, the last course I interned at. I worked 4 years at Highland Park and then began at the Blackburn Golf Academy at Greystone Country Club, also in Birmingham, AL. I have coached their 4 years now and have learned so much from so many great coaches. Greystone CC is a great place and I enjoy being able to help people enjoy their lives more through golf there.
