Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Driving range or practice green drills. First, I want to make sure my students understand why the golf ball is doing what it is doing! Second, help students understand how to fix it! Third, learn how to practice drills etc. to improve between lessons. It really is that simple to a better golf game!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an instructor for over twenty years! 10 years as a club professional and player and the last ten outside of golf courses as an independent instructor.

How did you get started teaching?
I went from being a player to teaching a few students. Over time I realized how much I could help others achieve their golf related goals and became passionate about learning every way I could to be a better communicator so my students could hear me teaching and understand and make necessary changes in their golf motion!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with juniors age 2 up to college, mini tour and tour level players. I am able to teach at any skill level. Either as a fun learning experience or the dedicated player looking to refine their game for competition!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Seeing one of my students put their new golf swing to work on the course for an all time best score!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always take a complimentary swing evaluation so you can see if the teacher can communicate in a way you can understand!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How long have you played golf?
How much time do you have to practice each week?
What do you want from your golf lesson?
