My name is Jim McNamara. I am a former MLB catcher with the San Francisco Giants. I am currently a certified player agent with MLB. I have been involved with professional baseball for 30+ years. I enjoy working with young players who strive to excel in baseball and enjoy the game. My style of coaching is flexible to the skillset of the player. We will work on all aspects of the greatest and most important position in the game. I have been coached by some of the best and enjoy passing on my experience/expertise to young catchers.

I pitched professionally for 10 years with parts of 3 years in the Major Leagues with the Texas Rangers. I have coached with the Seattle Mariners, Toronto Blue Jays, and Texas Rangers. I love coaching and seeing players develop. I understand that getting better is a process and approach my lessons with a very positive attitude. I am not a one size fits all coach. I believe that each player is different and needs to find their own way with my help along the way. I absolutely love seeing the progress. I'm a former MLB player who played professionally for 12 years. I've been coaching and training players for the last 25 years. I've Coached at all levels of baseball including travel ball,high school, and college.
