I really enjoy the artistry of sewing and find great satisfaction passing along that joy. Sewing is a great artistic outlet but refashioning things is also very eco friendly. Knowing your sewing machine and its capabilities is very important to being able to enjoy your sewing time so I like to make sure my students understand how the machine works and what it's capable of doing for them.

The 25-26 school year will be my 21st year teaching. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, a Masters degree in Special Education: Learning Disabilities, and another Masters in Special Education: Mild/Moderate Disabilities. I am currently pursuing National Board Certification in Special Education. I have taught students in grades 2nd through 12th grade. I have been trained in the Wilson Reading Program.
