Throughout my years in high school, college, and graduate school, I have many years of experience in tutoring people in math and science, for free. It's my passion and something I really enjoy doing. While working through course material with students, I always pride myself on figuring out exactly what concept or idea is the student doesn't understand and try to provide both what it is they're missing and a way to contextualize the idea as a part of a big picture understanding of the subject, so that they can build on top of the idea as they move forward. I really enjoy the artistry of sewing and find great satisfaction passing along that joy. Sewing is a great artistic outlet but refashioning things is also very eco friendly. Knowing your sewing machine and its capabilities is very important to being able to enjoy your sewing time so I like to make sure my students understand how the machine works and what it's capable of doing for them.
