Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Let's have a conversation! This is all for you, and we will talk about what your goals are, and go from there! Lessons themselves last from 45-90 minutes, it all depends on what we are doing
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a lifetime of experience, and I have worked with or gone to clinics with some of the top trainers, clinicians, and behaviorists in the industry.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I start individual lessons at $60, and offer packages for purchasing multiple at a time with 10 or 20% discounts
How did you get started teaching?
I have been conducting camps and lessons for over a decade. I got started when I realized that many times people need just a little help to get confident with their own horses. I have worked with children and adults, and with horses of all breeds. The rescue horses are the ones that really got me started with lessons and training for others, often times the difference between a horse in a home and a rescue is a little help with care, confidence, and a few more tools
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages, as young as 5 and as old as 85. Beginners, getting them started, and riders with varying levels of experience that want a different relationship with their horses
