I learned to sew when I was 9 years old. My grandmother was a professional seamstress and taught me the value of well crafted and unique clothing. I designed my first gown when I was 17 and have been designing ever since. I have created costumes, gowns, comfort wear and accessories. I love the process from a concept to the actualization of a design. I have taught fashion design and development for 20 years and have worked in the apparel industry for 30. I have been teaching sewing and hat making for over 30 years. I enjoy teaching students how to sew and seeing their work when it is complete.

I can teach a student how to draw a face.. once you learn how to draw faces you can draw anything.. I enjoy teaching how to draw and or painting a picture on canvas. I can show you simple ways on how to draw a face, eyes, lips and noses. How to turn a smaller picture (that you would like to paint) and enlarge it on any canvas size to your liking.
