I teach somewhat nontraditional art. I encourage creativity and self-expression in each student and the development of a personal style. It is my belief that this begins at a young age, and as I teach both children and adults we incorporate the basics of composition and color wrapped inside of each project. Most of the art lessons include either watercolor, colored pencils, pastel and occasionally some pencils and charcoal sketching. I participate in extensively in local juried art shows, and have been in three museums. I am also published in two books. I really love art and I think it contributes so much to life.
