We pride ourselves in an instructor to artist ratio of a 1 to 1 ratio in private sessions and a ratio of 1 instructor for a maximum of 5 artists in group sessions. Each session is a maximum of 3 hours long. An artist can use as much of the 3 hours as they like but the price is 25.00 dollars per hour for private sessions and 20.00 dollars per session for group sessions. I am an intuitive mixed media artist and illustrator that loves to blend basic art lessons along with the necessary emotional deep-dive that my meditative art practices help provide. I hope to help my students find their own inner voice and find what they REALLY want to say with their art, rather than using forced imagery to say it for them. I teach somewhat nontraditional art. I encourage creativity and self-expression in each student and the development of a personal style. It is my belief that this begins at a young age, and as I teach both children and adults we incorporate the basics of composition and color wrapped inside of each project. Most of the art lessons include either watercolor, colored pencils, pastel and occasionally some pencils and charcoal sketching. I participate in extensively in local juried art shows, and have been in three museums. I am also published in two books. I really love art and I think it contributes so much to life.
