I help each student learn violin from beginner to advance level using various methods. Students also have opportunities to perform in studio recital every year, taking a level test such as CM, ASTACAP every year, competitions, and orchestra auditions, etc. I enjoy helping all my students to grow better violin/viola player and having good opportunities to perform! I also enjoy as a violinist myself to perform with other musicians in piano trio, chamber music orchestra, or symphonic orchestra in the OC and LA area....

Hello! My name is Jacob, and I have been a violinist for 20 years. I also play the cello (a little bit), Piano (a little bit), and Viola. I intend to give students the same opportunity to excel at music that I was given by my teacher when I started taking violin lessons at 7 years old. I will personalize the curriculum for each student based on their individual needs. The particular book series that I use is the Suzuki method. This is because my violin teacher used it to teach me, and because Suzuki has instructions with pictures on how to hold the bow, stand properly, and hold the instrument with correct form.
