Hello! My name is Esther, and I am a classically trained pianist and violinist with over 25 years of playing experience. I earned my Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at UC Irvine and have been teaching students of various ages and skill levels for several years. My teaching approach focuses on building strong technical foundations while fostering a genuine love for music. I help each student learn violin from beginner to advance level using various methods. Students also have opportunities to perform in studio recital every year, taking a level test such as CM, ASTACAP every year, competitions, and orchestra auditions, etc. I enjoy helping all my students to grow better violin/viola player and having good opportunities to perform! I also enjoy as a violinist myself to perform with other musicians in piano trio, chamber music orchestra, or symphonic orchestra in the OC and LA area....

I have undergraduate and graduate degrees in music performance, and I've been teaching for decades. I have also played for many television shows and movies, such as Inside/Out, Wall-e, Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, America's Got Talent, Lost, and Family Guy, to name a few.
