Studying horses has been a lifelong passion. I have been breeding, riding and training horses for 30 + yrs. I now focus on teaching English/ Western riding to all ages. Sharing what I have learned and seeing my students progress into skilled horse people is a rewarding way to use my horses and knowledge to help others reach their goals in the Equestrian community.
My favorite part of teaching and sharing my knowledge is to see when a student actually gets "it" . The look on their face and the joy coming from it.... Thats why I am here. I never tire of reaching for that.

Shelly and her staff are absolutely professional, knowledgeable and have an incredibly trained eye to see the subtleties in rider form and follow through. Our 11 year old daughter absolutely loves her 2 riding days a week, which will soon go to 3. My daughters riding has progressed very fast from never ridin before to 1-2’ jumps in a couple of months. For my wife and I it Is just very relaxing to be out at the ranch hanging out and watching our daughter do the one thing she absolutely loves. Shelly and her staff are just really great people and very fun to be around.
