Ride With Me Academy
About
Lessons are essential in assessing and building skills no matter the level of rider. Through instruction we are able to learn, adjust and grow into a confident, skilled western rider. From beginner, intermediate or advanced there is always more to learn in the horse world. Out on the trail all of the knowledge gained in the arena comes together for a pleasurable experience for both horse and rider. Over the mountain, through the stream or around the river bend enjoy the freedom and connection with your horse at a pace suitable for you!
I started my journey with horses at the age of 6 with western pleasure riding from there I transitioned in my teens to English riding mainly in Hunter Jumper and have continued my love of horses into adulthood. From horses you learn to be in tune with yourself and connect to nature. The nature of horses allows for calm energy to flow freely between horse and rider building confidence in your skills and trust in each other. Everything learned in the arena or out on trails can be used in everyday life. I love being a trainer because I get to see riders grow both on and off horseback.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every rider is unique in their own way, I never train the same way for my students. As riding is an individual activity it is important for me as a trainer to customize each lesson based on the students personality, skill level and goals for the lesson. I take pride in knowing my clients personally to provide a complete learning experience with every lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Trained in western riding and horsemanship from the age of 6 with experience in Hunter Jumper, trail riding, ground work, horse etiquette and youth training.
