I have been training for over 20 years. I am licensed with the United States Soccer Federation and Cal-South. I have run camps and clinics, coached college, high school, competitive, recreational, academy director, and numerous private lessons.
My teams have won league, tournaments, have been undefeated. I have been coach of the year on two occasions. My reviews are 5 star!

Ruben was fantastic! He has a serious passion for soccer and coaching. The lessons he provided my daughter were instrumental in her taking her soccer to the competitive level. He has a great way of connecting with the kids to make it fun, but being sure to push them enough that they are improving. I would highly recommend purchasing a 10 pack (or 2!) of lessons from Ruben if you are unsure of how to get your child progressing in soccer.

Ruben has been great! COVID shortened our sons competitive season so we sought out a trainer to replace the time. From the beginning, Ruben has challenged our son and provided clear, straightforward direction on drills and technique. Ruben is very intelligent about soccer and has been very helpful in elevating our sons understanding of both his own play and larger strategy in games.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to speak to a parent to get a perspective on the players game, then through the duration of our lessons I have detailed conversations with the player(s). It is important to determine where they want to go and the reality of arriving there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Several AYSO coaching clinics,
cal- South goal keepers clinic,
Multi- level License with Cal-South and the U.S. Soccer Federation.
Coached college.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
It usually depends on the circumstances. The range is $55-75 an hour.
I also have a group rate and whole
team as well.
How did you get started teaching?
Coaching and playing with players from different countries.
Loved the game, worked on improving my knowledge, it hasn't stopped.
