Kevin Techakanokboon Golf Lessons

My name is Kevin Techakanokboon and I am a recent graduate from California State University Long Beach with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing. I competed on the NCAA Division 1 Men's Golf Team there for four years while captaining the team for my final two years (2013-2015). I am very well-educated on the mechanics of the golf swing and the golf game as a whole.

I have worked with various top professionals on the concept of the golf swing and how to teach it including Mac O' Grady, Dana Dahlquist, and Mickey Yokoi. Mac developed the MORAD golf swing which is modeled after Ben Hogan's swing and Dana and Mickey both teach after this model as well, which has influenced my teaching methods to my current students.

Currently, I am assisting in lessons at Virginia Country Club in Long Beach, CA to PGA Professional Zachary Vinal. Throughout this past summer, I also helped to organize and instruct junior golf clinics with children ages 5-17 while maintaining a safe and fun environment. When I am not working at the club, I provide instruction in the practice facility in my backyard which includes a "batting cage" type area to hit full shots and a putting green for small chip shots and putting.
