What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I teach my students to trust a horse by understanding how to communicate with a horse.
we start from learning to halter, lead, groom, saddle and properly ride.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been teaching horsemenship for 50 years.
I was involved with CCC 4-h for 20 years.
I was a graduate student of professor Jesse school of horsemenship in 1960
i am affiliated with Marvin Picollo handicap school.

I have been teaching and training horses for 50 years. Western horsemenship.
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginning and intermediate riders. I do not teach for horse showing. I will refer you to a teacher once you are ready to learn

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Investigate and ask how long and how many satisfied customers.
make sure you have and agree on the same principles.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Know what your needs are and be honest with the teacher. Make sure you communicate with each other.
