He was knowledgeable and very patient both with a beginner and someone who needs to break some bad habits.

If you’re looking for a golf coach who can help you be a better golfer wether you’re a +1 or a -30 handicap look no further. Roy is your guy. He knows the fundamentals of a good golf swing and how to individually help you as a player. No two golf swings are the same and Roy coaches that way. You’re not getting the stuffy club pro when you take lessons with Roy. You’re getting a personable guy who is passionate about helping you be the best golfer you can be. I highly suggest taking lessons from him.

Roy does a great job as a instructor. He sees the problems with my swing and has several ways to correct the problem. He is patience and a great communicator. I'm very happy with my choice for Roy as my instructor.

Roy would work with my natural swing style and fine tuning it to eliminate bad tendencies. He gave me swing check points to use during my round and that really helps with my consistency. Great instructor.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

With a new student I exam where they are with their game and start with fundamentals of grip and stance then we take there natural movement to improve their game.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Playing golf since age 9 and have won over 30  events in Georgia and California. I have taught hundreds of individuals from beginner to advanced.

How did you get started teaching?

After getting honorably discharged from the Marines in 2018 I picked golf back up to help with my transition out of the service. I have been playing since I was 8 years old and gave up golf to serve my country when I was 19. Teaching others and being of service has allowed me to reach many golfers and improve their games aa well.
