As a drummer with over 20 years of experience, playing professionally, teaching, and with a degree in jazz drum set. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Alex for the past 8 months. For the longest time I had the desire to find an amazing teacher to give me direction with my practice and playing. I found him through his Eric Harland book knowing that someone who has gone through the painstaking process of transcribing Harland had an intense dedication to high level music and sharing that knowledge with others. Alex’s curriculum and knowledge of jazz and practical musical language has had a noticeable impact on my playing. Many musicians I work with have even noticed positive impacts in my feel, creativity, and soloing. Not only is he an amazing teacher when it comes to the material, but he is also a great person to talk to. Every week I look forward to the energy he puts into our meetings. I am certain drummers of any level will develop their skills and passion by taking lessons with him!

Chris is awesome. I wanted to play the drums for years and finally decided to go for it. I have been out of college for over 10 years and decided it was time to try it. Drum lessons with Chris are so much fun and he is pretty close to me in Tustin. He is really organized and has a great way of breaking things down for me. I find he is super patient and easy to understand. If I don't get something right away, he always has another way of explaining it so I can understand it. I wanted to find a teacher that could teach jazz drumming and rock drumming and Chris has a lot of experience with all styles. Chris also helped me pick out an electronic drum set, which I really appreciated. I can highly recommend Chris for any student, especially if you are an adult student looking to learn the drums.

My kiddo's started practicing ukulele at Roos Music back in 2017. They were shy then (8 yrs & 6 yrs) but Josh demonstrated so much patience and kindness. He helped build their confidence and love of playing music. The kids are now practicing the electric guitar with Aaron and Joey, who are just as fun and kind. Joanna is very patient, my 7 year old loves his drum lessons, She makes it fun for him. He’s been going for a couple months and he has learned so much. Joanna has different teaching methods that made it easy for him since he wasn’t able to fully read when we started the lessons. I definitely recommend Joanna.
