I really listen to what the student needs. I want each student to enjoy learning music. Of course they need to learn technical aspects along the way. I make it a habit of emailing each student a review of each lesson and homework for the next week. This frees the student from having to keep track of these details during the lesson so that they can concentrate on learning the music.

I offer private in-person music instruction for piano, drums, and voice. I show students how to play/sing songs they already love, regardless of genre and provide them with the necessary tools for teaching themselves new songs. My individualized lessons ensure that students learn how to sight read and play by ear regardless of age or skill level. Whether the desire is to play for fun or to become a professional musician, my approach delivers an effective way to learn music and keep it fun while doing so.

I've been fortunate enough to be and have been arranger and musical director for countless live and studio projects with well known performing artists for nearly 40 years now.
