F.O.R.D Project
About
I am a current high school football coach and was a personal trainer for over 15 years. Almost 30 years of football experience and was a professional athlete myself. I don’t want to just help my players become better football players, I want to make them better young men.
“I believe that a truly well-rounded athlete embodies qualities beyond their athletic abilities. They possess character and an understanding that their identity extends beyond being solely an athlete. It excites me to assist them in exploring their other interests and passions, as there is so much more to discover about themselves. Every athlete has a limited timeline for their athletic career, and there is also a limit to how long they can actively participate in sports. It is crucial for them to learn the value of hard work, to collaborate with diverse individuals, and to navigate through challenges with resilience and integrity, even in the absence of an audience. These experiences shape their character and provide lifelong lessons. It is important to recognize that an athlete's identity should not solely depend on their athletic success. Sports serve as a valuable educational tool, instilling positive traits that are essential for a fulfilling life. My mission is not only to equip them with the physical tools they need but also to help them develop the skills necessary for life beyond sports.”
