Family ranch location and business owned and operated since 1965. In 1993 Ryckman Equestrian was started in Northern California which included teaching and showing in Sacramento, and as far north as Oregon.
From 1990 to 1992 I actively competed on the Cal State Chico Equestrian Team and was in charge of Public Relations. We showed up and down the state including Nevada.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start my riders from the ground up learning basic horsemanship skills to advanced riding techniques.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of horse show experience including competing a the A rated level in A/O Jumpers, Mini Prixs, Medals and Hunters. Actively competed Intercollegiately and years of teaching riding disciplines including Western and Dressage. Our family breeds, raises and trains hunter jumpers to the advanced show jumping level. Our riders both past and present have long standing show records in the Greater San Diego Hunter Jumper Assocation, USEF and including to the Grand Prix level.
