We have a unique riding club at my ranch in Poway where horse lovers of all ages come together to learn all about horse care and riding in a fun family environment. You can check us out on Yelp under Clare's Riding Club in Poway also.
Thank you for considering taking riding lessons here with me on my lovely horses. I would love to have you here! Usually, our group lessons are 3 hours of horsemanship and riding. For private lessons, they last about 1.5-2+ hours. My web-site (eclare-enterprises.com) is in the process of being updated but you can check us out there, and Clare's Riding Club on YELP as it goes into my riding and teaching philosophy as well as our unique lesson program. I want all of my riders, of all ages, to be well rounded equestriennes who take good care of their horse partners, can ride over fences (which is my forte'), on trails (at walk, trot and canter, over logs, including up and down hills, over different terrain, through water), basic dressage movements for balance and harmony, and in the arena. We go to some Hunter/Jumper, Horse Trials and Dressage shows in the area and have Fun shows here for those students who like showing, but are not a show barn. Our love for horses is what drives us! We have so much fun here and are a horse lovers paradise.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
After talking by phone and filling out a questionnaire, we set up their first lesson where I walk them around introducing our ranch, students and horses, have another student pair with them, ask about previous horse experience find a good horse match for them, learn and have lots of fun!

How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching since I was 12 years old as a USPC member, rider, competitor, then graduated with the highest level of USPC certification in horseback riding instruction.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages from little children to adults:) from beginners to advanced riders; thrugh 2nd level Dressage, trail riding, eventing through Training Level, hunter/jumper and pleasure riding. So much fun!!!
