King Performance Horses

With parents in the horse business for over 50 years, you could say I was “born” into the horse show world. Ever since I was five years old, I knew I wanted to be a horse trainer. As a youth rider, I successfully showed all over California and Arizona in equitation, stock horse, trail and stock seat medal classes.

My parents started King Performance Horses in 1959, offering lessons in Western riding, including reining. I joined them in 1984, and since their retirement, I have carried on with the business.

King Performance Horses has an outstanding show team. Team members enter prestigious shows, like Del Mar National and win.

The King Performance Horses training program enables students to gain confidence and learn proper style and skill when working with their horses. Your security and control of the horse depend on having "a good seat" in the saddle. King Performance Horses stresses the correct position of your hands, body, and legs while riding.
