About
ENGLISH HUNTER/JUMPER TRAINING BARN. NO WESTERN OR TRAIL RIDING
My focus is on the care and well being of both the horse and rider. I teach everything from the ground up. From proper horsemanship, education of horses, and of course riding! Horses are my heart and soul. Sharing my passion with others is incredibly rewarding.
I love horses and have the greatest memories from being at the barn with my friends. Having a fun, supportive, and safe place to learn is so important. And having a trainer truly care and push you is vital. I want my riders to be strong, independent, talented riders but I want them to respect the sport and most importantly their horses. I enjoy sharing the love & beauty of horses. The courage & humility it takes to be around these magnificent animals.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by asking what type of riding program they are looking for. Are they interested in just lessons or to train towards a bigger goal like owning a horse and showing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started riding when I was 5 years old with Ginny Spooner, the mother of world famous Grand Prix rider, Richard Spooner. From 5-14 years old my focus was in hunters and equitation. I then started competing in jumpers as well but continued with my equitation career. When I was 15/16 years old I was only competing in jumpers because I loved going fast and jumping the biggest fences I could aim at! I had a very successful show career that Im forever greatful for.
I have trained with Olympic level trainers/riders, numerous Grand Prix riders, 3 Day eventing, and dressage trainers as well. Never stop learning!
