San Diego Riding Horses is a great place to learn to ride on gentle reliable horses and ponies. We’re located at Horse Land, a private, 14 acre, Riding Center. Our park like setting offers an ideal location to learn to ride. Just a mile from the ocean off the 5 freeway, we experience cool ocean breezes year round.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We always start with a Horsemanship lesson to evaluate how the student handles the horse on the ground. We then move to Riding and assess the rider’s skill in the saddle.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up in Germany and received my Riding credentials there.
